I can't believe how big Teddy is getting already. I feel like the luckiest woman alive to have such a perfect son and wonderful husband, though I am not happy he'll go back to work next week.

I won't lie, being a mother is hard work. Teddy rarely sleeps when you want him to, and he's always hungry like his father. But I would not trade it for anything.

Oh sweet Salazar...

I'm going into labor! It's about time!

Oct. 26th, 2010

I went to the midwife today, and she said that Teddy will be here any time. We've got almost everything ready for him, and I greatly appreciate all the gifts and the shower. It was the best surprise I've had in a long time.

Only a few more weeks until Teddy is born. I am so excited and nervous. I know I look like a house, but it's going to be worth it once my perfect son is here. I am very lucky that I don't have to worry about finding a husband, or having children, because I chose to marry well before deadlines came into play.

Everyone seems to be complaining, but marriage is wonderful. There is nothing more fulfilling for a woman than to be mistress of a household and to give her husband sons. I certainly hope more young witches understand these obligations and are willing to step up and do what is best.

[Hexed very private to Millie]

Guess who came to see me today to tell me he was marrying Gwen... and she doesn't know it yet.

I see a lot of people complaining on here about marriage and children. What they seem to forget is we are in a situation of limited population. It's our duty, especially those of the ruling class, to get married and have children. There is no greater joy for a woman, or greater duty than motherhood, and to give her husband sons to carry on the family line.

So instead of complaining, I suggest people start looking for partners, before the Ministry finds them for you.

I am overjoyed at the pending birth of my son, and being a wife. I can only hope some of my friends will join me in this most noble calling.

I am so proud of my heroic husband. Yes, he was injured, but he's fine now. It's thanks to the bravery of wizards like him that we don't have to fear being attacked by these monsters. I shudder to think what kind of evil would attack innocent children.
